PTFE crucible, also known as PTFE crucible, polytetrafluoroethylene crucible, is made of high-purity experimental grade polytetrafluoroethylene and is used for melting and refining metal liquids and solid-liquid heating and reaction containers. Common specifications include 20ml, 30ml, 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, etc., and the appearance is pure white. Generally, the design of thick top and thin bottom can make the sample evaporate faster, and they are all equipped with a lid to reduce the splashing of acid, alkali and other solvents during heating.

Product features

(1) Strong corrosion resistance: In addition to molten sodium and liquid fluorine, it can withstand strong acids, strong alkalis, aqua regia and various organic solvents, and will not change even when boiled in aqua regia.

(2) High and low temperature resistance: The operating temperature range is -200℃ to +250℃, and it can withstand 300℃ for a short time on the hot plate.

(3) Low pollution: The blank value of metal elements is low, the content of lead and uranium is less than 0.01ppb, there is no dissolution and precipitation, and it can effectively prevent external impurities from contaminating the experimental samples.

(4) Non-adhesiveness: The surface is smooth, does not adhere to any substance, has strong self-lubricating properties, and the friction coefficient among solid materials is 0.04.

(5) Good insulation: The dielectric properties are independent of temperature and frequency, and are not affected by the environment and frequency. The dielectric loss is small and the breakdown voltage is high.

(6) Good mechanical properties: When dropped from a height of 1.2 meters above the ground, the bottle body does not break, the bottle cap does not fall off, and there is no damage or leakage. The wall thickness is relatively thick, and it is not easy to soften when heated at high temperature.

Product applications

(1) Chemical analysis: commonly used in trace analysis, isotope detection, ICP-MS/OES/AAS analysis, etc., to ensure the accuracy of the analysis results and prevent the sample from being contaminated by the crucible material.

(2) Sample processing: can be used for the pretreatment of samples such as digestion of biological materials and mineral samples. During heating and acid treatment, it effectively protects the sample from interference from external impurities due to its excellent corrosion resistance and low pollution.

(3) Special chemical reactions: suitable for some chemical reactions that need to occur in a highly corrosive, high temperature or specific chemical environment, providing a stable container environment for the reaction.
