Pear shape distilling flask with standard ground mouth is a laboratory glass instrument used for distillation operations, usually made of high borosilicate glass. The overall shape is pear-shaped, with a thin neck, the body gradually becomes larger from top to bottom, and the bottom is conical shape. This shape allows the liquid to be concentrated at the bottom of the flask when it is in use, which is convenient for heating and stirring. It also increases the heating area of the liquid, which is beneficial to improve the distillation efficiency and accelerate the evaporation of the solvent. The bottle mouth has a standard ground joint and comes in a variety of sizes, such as 14, 19, 24, etc.It can be tightly connected with other glass instruments with the same standard ground mouth, such as condensers, fractionation columns, receiving flasks, etc., to ensure the sealing of the device, and facilitate experimenters to assemble various distillation devices according to different experimental requirements. There is a branch pipe at the bottleneck, which is used to connect the condenser, so that the steam generated during the distillation process can smoothly enter the condenser for cooling and condensation, thereby achieving gas-liquid separation.
