The glass brown vacuum desiccator is a device that combines the functions of vacuum drying and light shielding.

With its unique brown glass design, it can effectively block the irradiation of ultraviolet rays and other light, providing a safe storage and drying environment for light-sensitive substances. It is widely used in the fields of chemistry, biology, etc., where high light stability is required.

Sealing design: It is usually equipped with a wide-edged frosted sealing cover that fits closely with the frosted opening of the desiccator body. After applying sealing materials such as vacuum grease, it can form a highly sealed space, effectively preventing outside air, moisture, and light from entering the interior of the desiccator.

Internal structure: There is a porous shelf inside, which is made of ceramic material. Many small holes are evenly distributed on the shelf. Its function is to place the items to be dried, allowing the items to be fully exposed to the drying environment. At the same time, it facilitates air circulation and improves the drying efficiency. In addition, desiccants such as silica gel with color change and anhydrous calcium chloride can be placed at the bottom of the desiccator to further absorb the internal moisture and maintain a dry environment.

Air extraction and intake devices: It is equipped with an air extraction port, which is used to connect to a vacuum pump to extract the air inside the desiccator, creating a vacuum environment, reducing the internal air pressure, lowering the boiling point of solvents such as water, and accelerating the drying process. It also has an air intake valve. After the drying is completed, air is slowly introduced through the air intake valve to balance the internal and external pressures of the desiccator, making it convenient to open the desiccator and take out the items.
