Product features
The lower end of the burette is connected to a rubber tube, and there is a glass bead inside the rubber tube. By squeezing the rubber tube, the glass bead moves, thus controlling the outflow of the titrant. This ingenious structure effectively prevents the alkaline solution from coming into direct contact with the glass stopcock, because the alkaline solution easily reacts with the ground glass joint of the glass stopcock, causing the stopcock to become immobile.
The combination of the rubber tube and the glass bead can not only effectively control the outflow of the solution but also prevent this reaction from occurring, ensuring the normal use of the burette.
The tip part of the burette is used to precisely control the outflow speed and flow rate of the liquid, making the titration operation more accurate. During the titration process, the speed of the liquid flowing out from the tip can be adjusted by controlling the force of squeezing the rubber tube, ensuring that the titrant can be added dropwise to the solution to be titrated at a stable and accurate rate. The burette is specifically used to hold alkaline solutions, such as sodium hydroxide solution, potassium hydroxide solution, etc. Due to its special structure and materials, it cannot be used for acidic solutions and strongly oxidizing solutions, because the acidic solution will corrode the rubber tube, and the strongly oxidizing solution will undergo an oxidation reaction with the rubber tube, damaging the burette.
The burette has strict scale standards. The scale error of Class A burettes is extremely small, and the accuracy of the scales has been strictly tested and calibrated to ensure that very accurate volume readings can be provided during the titration process. For experiments and analytical work that require high-precision measurements, this feature is crucial.
The scale divisions on the body of the burette are uniform, ensuring consistent measurement accuracy within different volume ranges. Whether at the initial stage of the titration or when approaching the end point, the volume change of the titrant can be accurately read. This uniform division also makes it convenient for users to quickly estimate the amount of titrant used, improving the efficiency of experimental operations.
The unique soft rubber head of the burette prevents corrosion by the alkaline solution; it is easy to operate. Squeezing the rubber tube to control the titration speed is more stable and controllable; the surface of the product is smooth without a protruding feeling, which is beautiful and elegant; it is made of thickened glass with a uniform wall thickness, a glossy and transparent appearance, and high transparency; with fine craftsmanship, it is delicate, sturdy, beautiful, and has a sense of quality; the scales are clear, easy to read, wear-resistant, and will not fade; the fine tip ensures a uniform flow rate.

Product applications
Class A burettes are mainly used for high-precision chemical analysis, such as quantitative analysis in the pharmaceutical and scientific research fields, as well as teaching experiments that require high precision.
Alkaline burettes are particularly suitable for the titration of alkaline standard solutions, such as the accurate measurement and titration of alkaline solutions such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
Due to its design features, it can effectively avoid corrosion of the burette by acidic solutions and strongly oxidizing solutions, so it is not suitable for titration of acidic or strongly oxidizing solutions.
With its unique structure and precise scale, the alkaline buret plays an important role in the titration of alkaline solutions and acid-base neutralization titration experiments.
