When the hot steam contacts the spherical inner tube wall cooled by cooling water, the heat of the steam is transferred to the tube wall due to heat exchange, causing the steam to cool and condense into liquid. The cooling water enters from the lower port of the outer tube and flows out from the upper port, forming countercurrent cooling to ensure the maximum cooling effect.
