Condenser with coiled inner tube is a glass instrument commonly used in laboratories, mainly used in distillation, fractionation and reflux processes. The inner core tube is spiral, which increases the length and cooling area of the glass tube, making the contact area with the steam large and the heat exchange efficiency high. The outer sleeve is a straight glass tube, forming an annular space between it and the inner core tube for passing cooling water.Both ends are equipped with standard ground joints, which can be tightly connected with other glass instruments with the same specifications of ground joints, such as distillation flasks, three-necked flasks, etc. During the experiment, hot steam enters the inner core tube from one end of the condenser tube. When the steam contacts the spiral inner tube wall cooled by cooling water, heat exchange occurs, and the heat of the steam is transferred to the tube wall, causing the steam to cool and condense into liquid. The cooling water enters from the lower opening of the outer tube and flows out from the upper opening, forming countercurrent cooling to ensure the maximum cooling effect.

Condensers with coiled inner tube are usually made of borosilicate glass, which has good chemical stability and strong resistance to chemical corrosion. It can withstand the erosion of most chemical reagents, including acid, alkali, salt and other solutions. It can withstand high temperatures without softening or deforming, can withstand rapid temperature changes, and is not easily broken by thermal shock. It has good optical properties and high transparency, which makes it easy for experimenters to observe the state of the liquid, color changes and other phenomena during the condensation process, and helps to promptly discover problems or abnormal conditions in the experiment. It has a certain mechanical strength, is not easy to break, and can withstand a certain degree of external force shock and vibration. This makes the condenser relatively durable during installation, disassembly and use, reducing the possibility of damage due to accidental collision or improper operation.
