The fractionation column is usually a glass tube with a length of 10-50cm and a diameter of 15-25mm, and the column is filled with fillers4. The fillers are generally made of glass, porcelain or metal, such as glass beads, glass single rings, porcelain rings, metal wire mesh, etc. The presence of these fillers increases the gas-liquid contact area, so that the rising vapor and the descending condensate can fully exchange heat and substances.There is a spiral coil inside the column, which is usually made of glass or metal. The function of the spiral coil is to guide the vapor and liquid to be evenly distributed in the column, avoid channeling or wall flow, further increase the gas-liquid contact area, and improve the fractionation efficiency.

Filled type distilling cylinder with helix is made of high borosilicate glass, which has a very low thermal expansion coefficient, about one third of ordinary glass.
