The standard ground straight reflux condenser is a commonly used glass instrument in chemical experiments. It consists of a straight glass tube as an inner core tube and an outer sleeve. The inner core tube is the steam channel, in which the liquid vapor flows. The outer sleeve is sleeved outside the inner core tube, and an annular space is formed between the inner core tube and the inner core tube, which is used to pass cooling water to cool the steam in the inner core tube. There are standard ground joints at both ends. There are many sizes of ground joints, and the common ones are 14#, 19#, 24#, etc.This standard ground mouth design can be easily connected with other glass instruments with the same specification ground mouth, such as flasks, distillation heads, and connecting tubes, to form various experimental devices. The connection is tight and the sealing is good, which can effectively prevent liquid or gas leakage during the experiment. The structure is simple, consisting of a straight inner core tube and an outer tube, with standard ground mouth interfaces at both ends; it has strong versatility, and the standard ground mouth can be connected with a variety of glass instruments, suitable for different experimental devices; the cooling effect is good: through the countercurrent heat exchange between the hot steam in the inner core tube and the cooling water in the outer tube, the steam can be effectively condensed; it is easy to operate, easy to install and disassemble, and easy to control the cooling water flow and adjust the reaction temperature.
