The extraction apparatus is suitable for leaching tests of fats and oils contained in organic substances. The complete set of this product is a standard frosted stopper. Each set comes with 1pc condenser tube, 1pc extraction tube and 1pc flasks.
The glass extraction apparatus consists of three parts: a round-bottomed flask, an extraction cylinder and a condenser tube. This combined structure forms a closed continuous extraction system. The extraction cylinder is used to place the sample to be extracted (such as solid substances containing fat), the round-bottomed flask contains the extraction solvent, and the condenser tube is used to condense and reflux the solvent vapor.
Its spherical design increases the contact area between the solvent and the sample. Repeated extraction processes can fully extract the fat in the sample. The connections between each component are tight, which can effectively prevent solvent evaporation and leakage. The ground glass interface can provide better sealing, ensures that during long-term extraction operations, solvent vapor will not escape into the external environment, which not only ensures the safety of the experiment, but also maintains the concentration of the solvent in the extraction system.
